Vision
Beyond Stillness – a sculpture that breathes
Born in freedom of creation, the inner world finds its way out. It is a process of listening to the material until the right chord is struck and emotion becomes tangible. Thus, a form is born that does not just stand, but breathes - a translation of the strength that lies deep within.
Everything revolves around the fragile boundary between vulnerability and the unyielding strength we carry inside. Here, I search for the essence: the foundation that sustains us and the softness that makes us human. To me, art is not an escape, but an arrival at the core of who we are. My sculptures tell the story of falling, getting back up, and the unwavering silence found when one dares to look inward. They are not silent witnesses, but tangible proof of a strength that cannot be broken.
Strength and movement
In my work, I seek the encounter between the traces of life and a profound stillness. The result is a continuous interplay of contrasts: the weight of the material versus the lightness of a fluid emotion. My goal is a form in which you can feel authenticity—raw where necessary, weathered by time, yet always carried by a deep inner peace.
Shaped by Freedom
As a self-taught artist, I follow my own singular compass. No preconceived rules, but years of direct confrontation with the material have determined my path. Every technique has been mastered through doing, falling, and rising again, driven by the urge to fully command the material.
The path to an indestructible statement
The process begins with tangibility. Every material dictates a different way of feeling.
- Clay: In the simplicity of the clay, the essence emerges. Here, I give birth to the contours of a new imagination. It is a raw translation: the direct, unfiltered transfer from the inner self to the tangible world.
- Wax and Plastiline: These materials provide the precision and refinement needed to deepen forms and details that cannot be achieved in clay.
- Bronze: The final transformation, where an emotion is captured in a timeless and indestructible statement.
